DONT LET THEM SEPARATE US FROM THE MUSIC!

They have tried to diminish Michael Jackson's music since Thriller, but he continued to evolve and improve.   During MJ's life all the chatter served to distract from his music.
 
Over the course of this blog we look at Michael Jackson's music since THRILLER and see that each recording (especially INVINCIBLE and one of Michael's favorites, BLOOD ON THE DANCE FLOOR) shows Michael Jackson's evolving artistry.  And we consider the man, the music, and his mission of spreading LOVE in the world.  Let's continue to be inspired by this heaven sent American Master...  ALWAYS CELEBRATE THE MUSIC! 

THRILLER may be the best selling album in history, but it's not Michael Jackson's best album.  Still, once MJ thrilled us beyond wildest expectations efforts were stepped up to silence him, in effect.  Remember MTV didn't really play black musicians when MJ's artistry (and support at the time from his record company) commanded MTV put the "THRILLER" short film into heavy rotation.

But let's not get distracted by the chatter here.

Michael Jackson is LOVE.  His lyrics are full of love, and so are his actions.  The grace with which he withstood the chatter amazes me to this day.  But just because he took it with grace, doesn't mean there was no effect.   'We the people' let the scheme distract us from the music.  And while it's too late for us to silence the chatter for Michael, we can stand up against the scheme by staying with the music.
